After 26.5 hours of labor, and over three hours of pushing, Heather delivered Carter Michael Young on July 4, 2015, 4:49 A.M.  Despite being the most slender and fit pregnant woman I've ever seen, Heather delivered a baby weighing 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and stretching 22 inches. I still can't figure out where she hid him for all that time, or how he managed to fit.

We're so thankful for blessing that this little guy is, and everyone who was so supportive before, during, and after his birth. The idea of a doula was a bit of a conflict between us, but Rhian's help and guidance was exactly what we needed, and something that will always be cherished.
